Please ensure that you read and understand all the terms and conditions stated below.

  1. Bookings will only be confirmed following a consultation between the Client and Walkies with Wardy.
  1. Walkies with Wardy reserves the right to cancel appointments at any time and with immediate effect if a dog does not respond positively to the walker (Aimee) or to other dogs.
  1. If the client wishes to cancel a walking or drop-in visit booking, a notice of 24 hours is required. Failure to provide the necessary notice will result in the full charges being applied.
  1. If the client decides to cancel a house-sitting booking, a notice period of seven days is required. Failure to provide the necessary notice will result in the full charges being applied.
  1. Mileage charges will be applied for Clients living outside of a 10-mile radius of Honington.
  1. Invoices are issued every Friday, reflecting weekly arrears, and are due two days after their issuance. Failure to remit payment within this two-day period—unless prior arrangements have been made with Walkies with Wardy—will result in the cancellation of any future visits until the outstanding payment is settled in full.
  1. While Walkies with Wardy maintains public liability insurance, it is essential that pets are insured and microchipped by the Client. Walkies with Wardy reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking for an animal that is not properly insured or microchipped.
  1. If it is necessary for keys to be picked up or dropped off in order the complete a visit, charges may be applied for each trip.
  1. Should you, the Client, provide Walkies with Wardy with a key to access your property, please be assured that I will safeguard the key(s) in accordance with industry standards for professional pet and home services. This includes tagging, coding, and storing the key(s) in a manner that ensures reasonable protection against loss or theft. After the service period concludes, Walkies with Wardy will securely retain the Client’s key(s) for safekeeping until the Client reaches out to arrange for their retrieval.
  1. Walkies with Wardy will take necessary measures to ensure your home remains safe and secure during your absence. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any burglaries or accidents that may occur.
  1. The Client is required to provide Walkies with Wardy (via the portal) with the name and contact number of an individual authorized to make decisions regarding the pet in the event of an emergency. If the designated contact is unavailable, Walkies with Wardy reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon to determine the best course of action for the animal’s welfare.
  1. It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Walkies with Wardy of any medical conditions or injuries affecting the exercised dog. Should the illness be contagious and transmitted to other dogs, the Client will bear responsibility for any veterinary expenses incurred as a result. Walkies with Wardy reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately if a dog is found to be suffering from any illness or injury.
  1. Walkies with Wardy reserves the right to take your pet to the veterinarian at my discretion (Aimee). The Client is fully responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred while their pets are under the care of Walkies with Wardy.
  1. The client is responsible for supplying all necessary items to ensure adequate care for their pets during their absence, including food, medication, leashes, collars, and other essentials. If any additional supplies are needed while the pets are under the care of Walkies with Wardy, these items will be purchased, and the client will be billed accordingly.
  1. Walkies with Wardy is committed to caring for your pet as you would. While we make every effort to ensure your animal is well looked after in your absence, please note that Walkies with Wardy cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or death of a pet, whether inside or outside of the home, while under our care.
  1. Clients of Walkies with Wardy must be vigilant in reporting any behavioural issues concerning their pets during consultations. Failure to disclose such information may lead to additional charges or the cancellation of future bookings.
  1. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure they advise Walkies with Wardy when a bitch is in season. If a bitch is in season, the arranged time of walks may alter.
  1. All dogs being exercised must be fully vaccinated and I will require sight of an up-to-date vaccination card (a copy must be sent to aimee@walkieswithwardy.co.uk each vaccination)
  1. All pets must be on a regular flea and worming control regime.
  1. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless a prior agreement has been established with Walkies with Wardy. At no time will Walkies with Wardy utilise choke chains, check chains, retractable leads, prong collars, anti-bark collars, punitive methods, or any form of manhandling.
  1.  Walkies with Wardy will exercise our discretion and shorten a walk if necessary due to extreme weather conditions, such as heat or thunderstorms, to ensure the safety of both the dogs and ourselves.
  1. In the event of extreme weather (22° and hotter or -2° and colder) Walkies with Wardy retain the right to change the walk to a drop in visit and charge accordingly.
  1. The client agrees to their contact details being stored by Walkies with Wardy on the Pet Plus portal and will inform Walkies with Wardy should they no longer wish their data to be held.
  1. The client is to inform Walkies with Wardy should they move address or any contact details change as soon as possible.
